By accessing or using Ballievers ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Ballievers is currently in an invite-only beta: signing up, accepting invites, and joining matches are open to everyone, but creating a new squad may be limited to a nominated list of testers while the Service is on a free-tier infrastructure budget. If you're gated out of squad creation, you'll see an honest notice explaining that rather than a broken form.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account using an email address and either a password or a one-time sign-in link. By registering, you confirm you are at least 18 years old — we don't currently run an automated age check, so this is a condition of use you agree to, not something we verify. You agree to:
Ballievers is a platform for organizing casual football: squads, matches, team balancing, attendance, payment tracking, results and round-robin tournaments. You agree to:
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (profile information, photos, match details, etc.). However, by submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service.
You are responsible for your content and agree not to post:
We send you transactional notifications about squads and matches you're part of — invites, RSVPs, match reminders, changes and cancellations, and similar account notices. These currently arrive by email and inside the app (the notification bell); we do not send SMS text messages or push notifications today. You can manage which notifications you receive, and unsubscribe from email entirely, from your notification preferences in Settings or via the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Squads often split the cost of a pitch or tournament among players. Ballievers lets an organizer record who has paid and by what method (cash, card, or bank transfer) so everyone can see the state of the ledger — it is a record-keeping tool only. Ballievers does not process card payments, does not store card or bank details, and no money moves through the Service. Any actual payment happens directly between players, outside the app, and its accuracy depends on what an organizer or player records.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe:
You can also delete your own account at any time from your profile settings — see Data Retention in the Privacy Policy for what that does.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Ballievers is in active beta and features, pricing, and availability may change.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ballievers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any dispute over match costs recorded through the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
